The State University of New York (SUNY) is a perverted woke mess.
I started teaching at SUNY Orange in 2010. Now, the college refuses to even offer my class, Sequential Art: Comics Illustration, despite it being listed in the student course catalog and listed on the college’s website.
Yet, SUNY is ok with allowing disgusting teachers who promote pedophilia to teach?
Let me see if I understand this correctly… SUNY won’t let a nice Christian fella like myself to continue teaching, but they’re fine with pedophiles teaching young college students? How does that make any sense?
It doesn’t.
It’s sick.
Hot Air reports: "A Professor at SUNY-Fredonia has been arguing–for decades now–that pedophilia should be legalized and that it isn’t immoral at all. It’s like playing kickball or other sports, and if kids consent to the sex there is no clear moral reason that it is wrong or should be prohibited." And... " It turns out that Professor Stephen Kershnar has been making these arguments for years, even publishing academic papers about the subject and discussing his beliefs in his classes. It is simply impossible for the university to have been unaware of his philosophical position up until this moment."

What has happened to morality in our culture? What has happened to morality in our entertainment? Why do some of our fictitious heroes act more like villains? And why are villains and monsters in entertainment treated like the good guys? While teaching Sequential Art to college students, I often start a conversation about these very topics. I ask the question: “What has happened to our morals?” Not too long ago, one student replied: “We have none.” How scary is that… especially coming from a young person who stated it in such a matter-of-fact fashion?
Comics, Sequential Art, is a powerful literary art form. It has the potential to tell important stories and ideas. It’s a wonderful medium in which to share the Gospel.
